Return and Refund Policy

Important Notices

Failure to complete the responsibilities listed will result in a minimum service charge of $50 for up to one hour of cleanup, plus $50 for each additional hour (or portion thereof) required by staff to clean.
User is responsible for any damage or loss to Town property and will be charged:
- Full repair or replacement costs
- Labor expenses
- Up to a 15% administrative fee

Access Facility

The facility may be accessed no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your rental period.

Cleaning Responsibilities

Floors

Sweep all floors.
Mop any spills using fresh water and a clean mop.
Return all cleaning supplies to the storage area.

Garbage

Bag all garbage and place it in the LeMay receptacle or dumpster on site.
Check outdoor areas for litter and pick up any loose garbage before leaving.

Restrooms

Pick up any debris.
Mop floors if needed.
Ensure all toilets are flushed.

Kitchen Area

Wipe down counters, sinks, and stoves (including ovens if used).
Clean up any food spills.
Remove all food and bagged ice from the refrigerator and wipe it clean.
Clean the coffee pot after use.

Tables & Chairs

Wipe down tables and chairs.
Stack tables and chairs in the designated marked areas.
Note: No extra tables or chairs will be provided.

Decorations

Decorations are allowed but must be secured using masking tape, double-sided tape, or scotch tape.
Do not use: push pins, tacks, staples, or nails.
All decorations and tape must be completely removed before leaving.

Personal Belongings

Remove all personal items.
The Town of Bucoda is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

Closing Procedures

Turn the thermostat switch to the off position (if applicable).
Return keys to the office (use the night drop box if after hours).
Turn off all lights.
Lock and secure all windows and doors.

Vacating the Facility

The facility must be cleaned and vacated by the end of your rental period.

Key Return

Keys must be returned within 48 hours of rental.
Re-keying fees will apply if not returned.
Long-term key checkouts are not permitted.
